LONDON Aston Villa's new French winger David Ginola has launched an extraordinary attack on his former manager at Tottenham Hotspur, George Graham.
Ginola, quoted by Villa's official Website on Monday, accused Graham of not being man enough to tell the Frenchman he did not want him anymore.
Ginola joined Villa from Spurs last month for three million pounds ($4.51 million), following reported differences with Graham last season.
"I was pushed out at Spurs," Ginola said.
"Graham was never man enough to tell me face to face that he did not want me anymore." The flamboyant Frenchman also questioned Graham's future at the English Premier League club.
"George Graham is living on the edge," Ginola said. "He has to provide something big for Spurs this year or he is finished." Ginola, voted English Football's Player of the Year in 1999, said after signing for Villa last month that he had been happy at Spurs and had never asked to leave the club.
